My sincere condolences to the George family. I worked with Gladys way back in the 50s at Finance at Hunter AFB and she worked in the payroll section. She always had our paychecks ready on time. In addition, she was a great person to work with and I appreciated her very much. We had a lot of laughs together. I know all of you miss her very much. God bless all.

Ed, Sally and Jimmy: I was saddened to hear of the passing of my co-worker and dear friend. Ms. George has been a part of my life since August 1971 when we worked alongside each other at Richard Arnold HS. She was a great teacher not only in the work world but in life...the wisdom she provided me as we kept in touch throughout the years was invaluable. In August 2010 she was present at the visitation for my dear husband although I told her it was not necessary that she attend due to her health issues...she came anyway...Please know that the love she showed me during the death of my husband meant the world to me ...when I was not visiting her we stayed in touch by phone. Our conversations would last for hours...we would catch up on how both our families were doing...Ms. George will be remembered for the strong woman she was...the love for her family and friends but more than this the love for God! Please know that she will be truly missed by me and my family!
